Cherokee Yellow Bean is a delicious variety with tender pods.
The plants are highly productive and disease-resistant, reaching a height of 18 inches.
Directly sow your bean seeds in rich, well-drained soil in full sun at least one week after the last frost. Plant them at a depth of 1 inch and 6 inches apart. Germination should occur within 10 days after planting.
Keep the soil moist by mulching around the base of the plants and water them at least once a week. Your first beans should appear around 10 weeks after germination. Beans taste better and are more tender when they are no larger than a pencil. Daily harvesting will improve plant productivity.
