Parsley grows well in a pot.
It has slow germination, which is why gardeners prefer to sow it indoors to give it a head start. Soak the seeds overnight and sow them at a depth of 1/4 inch while maintaining the ambient temperature between 18 and 20°C (65-70°F) and keeping the soil moist. Don't expect germination before 3 or 5 weeks.
Transplant your plants to the garden when all risk of frost is gone, spacing them 6 inches apart in full sun or partial shade in rich, moist soil. Since parsley has shallow roots, mulch the base of the plants to retain maximum moisture and control weeds.
It can be consumed fresh, refrigerated, or frozen.
