This variety is self-blanching, so there's no need to tie them... Saving you time!
For an early harvest, it's best to sow the seeds indoors in peat pots because cauliflower plants don't like to be transplanted.
Plant them 1/2" deep 8 to 10 weeks before the last expected ground frost. Plant them in the garden as soon as all risk of ground frost is gone after acclimating them for a few days. Cauliflower prefers warm temperatures of 15 to 20°C (57 to 68°F). Space them about 15 inches apart in rich and consistently moist but not waterlogged soil. You can mulch your rows to better control moisture and weeds. Its water needs are moderate.
You can harvest your cauliflowers when their heads reach 6 to 12 inches in diameter. Cut them at the base of the head, being careful to leave a few leaves.
