This plant is a friend to bees and butterflies.
Easy to cultivate, it produces beautiful blue flowers. They bloom abundantly and look best when planted densely. The five-petaled flowers last only a few days, but they go unnoticed as others proliferate.
Does not transplant well, so it's better to sow directly in the garden after all risk of frost has passed. Sow them just below the surface of the soil at about 1/8’’ deep.
These plants tolerate drought well and appreciate light, sandy soil.
