This flower is valued in both fresh and dried floral arrangements. Sometimes confused with 'Queen Anne's Lace,' this variety is a bit larger with a more distinct and delicate growth. The edible seed has a taste reminiscent of thyme.
Direct sowing should be done in the garden in spring, as soon as the soil is workable, just below the surface (1/8’’ deep). Germination should occur within 15 to 20 days. Keep the soil of the seedlings moist, but only water mature plants if drought persists.
