This plant is a friend to bees and butterflies.
This easily cultivated plant displays bright yellow flowers with reddish-brown markings. It is often used as a companion plant with vegetables in the garden as it helps prevent diseases and certain unwanted insects.
Directly sow in the garden just below the soil surface (1/4’’ deep). Keep the soil slightly moist until germination, which can take between 5 and 10 days.
Mature plants tolerate some drought but require good moisture levels during germination until they are established.
