This easy-to-grow plant produces an abundance of flowers with minimal effort.
Mix the seeds with damp soil and refrigerate for about 60 days before planting. Keep the soil slightly moist until germination. Water the seedlings until they establish. To encourage branching, pinch the tips as they grow. Mature plants tolerate occasional drought, although they prefer moist soil. This plant often self-seeds. It is an excellent ground cover, border plant, or addition to a rock garden.
